The Museum’s expert staff will ensure safe night hiking habits are utilized by the group and guide you along the enchanting scenery of the forest at night. According to Director of Education, Jennifer Brinker, “the November full moon is called the “Beaver Moon” because the Native Americans noted that this was the time of year when beavers became very active as they prepared for the winter months ahead.”  This hike is weather dependent. Please bring a flashlight or headlamp. This program is for adults and families with children ages 5 and older. Admission: Prepaid registration is required. Museum Members: $6 Adults, $4 Children 3 & above. Not-yet-Members: $8 Adults, $6 Children 3 & above.
