Celebrate Black History Month with a 13th Amendment film and Q & A. In this thought provoking documentary, scholars, activists and politicians analyze the criminalization of African Americans and the U.S. prison boom.   Directed by Ava DuVernay, the film explores the ‘intersection of race, justice and mass incarceration in the united States’.   Free and open to the Public. To be held in room #201 Kaplan building of SUNY Newburgh.
