Spring is right around the corner, days are getting longer, birds are coming back to the area, and
wildflowers will soon be in bloom. Come join us at Laurel Meadows Ponds as we hike the approximate
4-mile loop through a diverse habitat to McKeags Meadow, listen for birds making their return, gaze
on a peat moss bog, and hopefully spot a beaver. Meet at Sterling Forest Visitor Center to leave by
10AM. Bring boots, water, and a snack. This is a beginner level hike with mild graded hills. For more
of an experience download the Merlin Bird ID app to help identify birds by call while hiking.
This event is limited to 25 participants
