Hamptonburgh Preserve

The Hamptonburgh Preserve is prime nesting habitat for waterfowl, woodpeckers, bluebirds and other cavity-nesting birds, combining rolling wildflower meadows, farmland and riverine forest along the Wallkill River. The Preserve is located at the intersection of routes 207 and 416 in the Town of Hamptonburgh. Parking entrance is on Rt. 207 just east of the intersection.
