Lautenberg Visitor Center

Discover more about the natural environment and Sterling Forest State Park when you join the Rangers for a nature walk around Eagle Lake.   Identify both trees and plants along the way, and learn how everyday weeds can be useful resources to humans and animals. You will finish the day by stopping by the pond and seeing what aquatic animals  can be  found. You’ll never look at your backyard the same again!  Meet at the Visitor Center at 1 PM and then drive about 10 minutes to the Eagle Valley trail. All are welcome, and be sure to wear proper attire.

Meet at the Lautenberg Visitor Center. Admission is free! Please call to pre-register.

Parental supervision required for all activities.
