Tours will be given on Mother’s Day, Sun May 14 and thereafter, the third Sun of each month Jun-Sept. Some of the destinations will be Baird’s Tavern, Old School Baptist Meeting House and the Railroad Station. As we walk the streets of Warwick history will unfold with every stop along the tour. The town will transform before your eyes as the railroad brought prosperity of new culture and ways of life to the area. Tours begin at 2pm at the A.W. Buckbee Center and end back at the center at 3:30pm. Tickets are free for members of the Warwick Historical Society and children 12 and under, non-member pay for their ticket. On Mother’s Day all moms are free. Tickets are also free for active military families as part of the Blue Star Museum Program. Reservations for tours are not required, but appreciated.
