First Presbyterian Church of Chester

This is a hands on class where you will learn to make a main dish, side, and dessert as well as enjoy the meal once it is done cooking/being prepared.

Menu includes:
Tortilla Mushroom Soup
Spring Rolls with dipping sauce
Strawberry Rhubarb Crisp
The teacher for the class is Michaela Hayes. She is a co-founder and farmer at Rise & Root Farm, a food stylist, teacher, an experienced chef and value-added producer.

She has taught preservation methods and other culinary classes for organizations such as The Natural Gourmet Institute, Farm School NYC, and Stone Barns Center for Food & Agriculture. Michaela was classically trained at the French Culinary Institute. She cooked for years in NYC restaurants including Gramercy Tavern, where she developed the pickling station.
