West Point Jewish Chapel

The West Point Band’s field music group, the Hellcats, will present a trumpet and bugle ensemble recital on Thursday, May 5 at 7:00 p.m. at the West Point Jewish Chapel. This concert is free and open to the public.

Sound the trumpets — spring is here! Join the bugle players of West Point’s Hellcats for an exciting evening of trumpet tunes. Program highlights include works by Leroy Anderson, Oskar Böhme, Kevin McKee, Jim Stephenson, and a premiere from the retired professor of trumpet at University of Minnesota — and former West Point Band trumpeter! — Dr. David Baldwin. This event is a unique opportunity to hear the Army’s first and only remaining field music group live in concert. Florid works for trumpet ensemble paired with West Point’s historic setting amongst Hudson Valley greenery make this performance a must-see!

Proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 is required for all patrons aged 12 and over. Patrons aged 5-11 without proof of vaccination must show either proof of a negative PCR test taken no more than 72 hours before the start of the event or proof of a negative antigen test (not a home test) taken no more than 24 hours before the start of the event.
