Part of the Hudson River Valley Ramble
Opened in 1870, this beautiful 74-acre rural cemetery surrounds a large pond and houses the graves of many interesting people including a pioneer woman war correspondent, members of the colonial Clinton family, writers, congressmen, artists and the Lithuanian-born “mother of women’s basketball.” Two local historians will narrate the lives of dozens of people now resting quietly in New Windsor.
