Spartan Race Tri-State New York Spring 2019
Looking for a physical challenge? You don’t want to miss this 3+ mile Sprint course that features constant waves of inclines and declines, technical terrain and 20+ Spartan obstacles that will test both your mental and physical stamina. 7:30am-5pm. Tuxedo Ridge Ski Center, Tuxedo Park.

First Annual Orange County Veterans Golf Open

Enjoy a day on the beautiful course, with great BBQ, music, prizes and most importantly, to honor our local service men and women. Meet Former NFL Green Bay Packer and Super Bowl Champion Gary Brown! Scramble Format. 7:30am Registration opens. 3:30pm Veterans Appreciation Ceremony. 4:30pm Event Concludes. Stony Ford Golf Course, Campbell Hall.

Annual Arboretum Plant Sale

Don’t miss the last day to shop the finest selection of plants in the area! Offering more than 300 species of plants suitable for a variety of soil and light conditions. A great opportunity to explore the beauty and wonder of the Arboretum. 10am-2:45pm. Orange County Arboretum, Thomas Bull Memorial Park, Montgomery.

Art in the Park

Enjoy a day of fine art! The exhibition features artists displaying and selling their original two and three-dimensional creations. Personally designed and crafted functional fine art in a beautiful park setting. Rain date 6/16. 10am-4pm. Historic Orange Square, Veterans Memorial Park, Port Jervis.

Father’s Day Craft Event

Enjoy crafting fun and making memories at the Harness Racing Museum. Create a Father’s Day gift-printing with paint and horseshoes to decorate a “DAD” and “DAD’S LUCKY CHARM” T-shirt for father and child. Design a card for that very special person in your life, play games and take a ride on the Museum’s harness racing 3-D simulator. Craft supplies and refreshments are included. The cost is $8 per shirt and preregistration is required by June 13th. Space and supplies are limited. 10:30am -12pm. Harness Racing Museum & Hall of Fame, Goshen.

Celtic Festival

The Celtic Festival is a great celebration of the Irish Culture. Bagpipes, Irish Dancers, 5 bands playing all favorites, local beers and of course wine and the new addition to the menu, mead! There will be many vendors with crafts, jewelry and merchandise and of course food vendors as well. Desserts for those with a sweet tooth as well. Admission is $10 for the day. Please bring a chair or blanket. Please, no outside beverages or coolers. 12pm-6pm. Palaia Vineyards, Highland Mills.

Water Lantern Festival

One of A Kind Experience! Hundreds of people gather to create the magic of light. Put your hope, love, happiness, healing, peace and connection into a lantern. Light it and release it on the lake along with hundreds of other people. Witness the stunning scenery of a glowing mass of lanterns on the water. Share this unique and memorable experience with family and friends. Free admission and parking, suggested donation. Lanterns for purchase. 4:30pm-9pm. Thomas Bull Memorial Park, Montgomery.

Antique Tractor Pull

Tractor Pulling is a competitive sport where tractors pull a metal sled that has a box loaded with weight down the track to see who can pull the farthest distance. There will be fun for all ages. Celebrate Dad and bring our community together for a day of fun-filled competition and wonder. Stop by and enjoy! Free admission. 9am-4pm. Orange County Farmer’s Museum, Montgomery.

Children’s Fairy Festival Father’s Day Cider Pairing Brunch

Treat your Dad to a cider infused cocktail pairing brunch in the Cider Garden at Angry Orchard! The talented Chef Shawn Hubbell will be providing a locally sourced three-course brunch menu featuring a cider cocktail to pair with each. Complimentary tasting flight. Games on the back lawn.
