KITES OVER THE HUDSON

Enjoy the outdoor fun at this annual event when color fills the sky overlooking the Hudson River. Free refreshments, event, museum, and tours will be available compliments of Central Hudson and Friends of State Historic Sites of the Hudson Highlands. Kites are given to the first 150 children 15 years and under. Site open 11am-5pm.  Event 2pm-4pm. Washington’s Headquarters State Historic Site, Newburgh.

9th ANNUAL NEWBURGH OPEN STUDIOS
Don’t miss this incredible opportunity to support and visit local artists in their studios, see their work, and get a behind-the-scenes glimpse into their processes. Tour pop up galleries, group shows, and the return of the GlenLily Grounds Outdoor Sculpture Show. Newburgh Art Supply will provide free walking tour maps, available at 10AM. Tour 12pm-6pm. ORANGE COUNTY FAIR SPEEDWAY – EVE OF DESTRUCTION

The carnage returns in 2019 with Orange County Fair Speedway’s annual “Eve of Destruction”! Experience a demolition derby, trailer race, thrilling stunts, and an Enduro race with nearly 100 cars on the track! Reserved seating available for purchase ahead of show. Different ticket prices available. Gates open 4pm, races start 6pm.

150TH WARWICK VALLEY FIRE DEPARTMENT CELEBRATION / 104TH OCVFA PARADE
Join the Warwick Valley Fire Department as they host and celebrate 150 years of volunteer service to the community! Over 50 Fire Departments will also be represented at the Orange County Volunteer Firemen Association (OCVFA) Parade along with the World-Famous Budweiser Clydesdales! 1pm Line Up. Parade begins 2pm.
