ORANGE COUNTY, N.Y. (June 14, 2021) – With a variety of challenging and scenic courses, Orange County, N.Y. is a perfect destination for golfers. “Many of our local courses were designed by renowned golfers and architects, offering golf enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels an unforgettable day on the green,” said Orange County Tourism Director Amanda Dana. “Take in the beautiful views, thoughtfully-designed courses, and savor 18 holes of unmatched play. These are a few of the many golf courses available to the public in Orange County, N.Y. include:

Stony Ford Golf Course in Thomas Bull Memorial Park, 217 Route 416, Hamptonburgh: This 18-hole, par 72 course also offers a Pro shop, driving range, and lessons. To reserve a tee time, call 845-457-4949. chronogolf.com/club/stony-ford-golf-course 

Hickory Hill Golf Course in Warwick County Park, 156 Route 17A, Warwick: Test your skills on this 6400-yard, par 72, 18-hole mountain course. Pro shop, driving range and lessons are available on-site. To reserve a tee time, call 845-988-9501. chronogolf.ca/club/hickory-hill-golf-course 

Golf Club at Mansion Ridge, 1292 Orange Turnpike, Monroe: The Golf Club at Mansion Ridge sits on a historic 220-acre estate with landmarks predating the American Revolution. New York’s only Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course open to the public, Mansion Ridge is an unmatched setting for unforgettable golf. To reserve a tee time, call 845-782-7888. mansionridgegc.com 

Lynx at River Bend Golf Club, 87 Neversink Drive, Port Jervis: Designed and constructed in 1915 by A.W. Tillinghast, the Lynx at River Bend Golf Club is one of the oldest courses in the country. West Point Golf Course, 718 Victor Constant Road, West Point: Just north of the Bear Mountain Bridge, the West Point Golf Course offers an unforgettable golf experience. The Robert Trent Jones designed course is an 18-hole, par 71 challenge on a mountain layout. Lessons, Pro shop, snack bar. Dress code.
