Outdoor dining joins curbside pickup and delivery options at many local eateries

ORANGE COUNTY, N.Y. (June 9, 2020) – As part of the second phase of reopening businesses throughout New York State, Governor Andrew Cuomo announced that outdoor dining would be permitted. Orange County, N.Y., along with the rest of the Mid-Hudson Valley region, entered this phase today. Many restaurants have begun offering outdoor dining in addition to delivery and curbside pick-up options.

“Like many of you, we are cautiously excited to move into the second phase of New York State’s plan for reopening. This next phase allows many of our local businesses to begin serving customers in new ways, including outdoor dining for restaurants and eateries across Orange County,” said Orange County Tourism Director Amanda Dana. “In order to do so, these businesses must follow strict safety guidelines, so we encourage everyone to take time to read through those guidelines to ensure the safety of and support for our community and its businesses.”
