ORANGE COUNTY, N.Y. (March 6, 2020) There may not be a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, but there are fun, festive, and family-friendly St. Patrick’s Day celebrations across Orange County, N.Y. this month! Sign up to run a 5K, watch a parade, or head to a craft brewery to listen to Celtic music and raise a glass or two. No matter your speed, there’s an Orange County event where you can celebrate the Irish-ish in you.

‘All month long, businesses throughout Orange County are paying tribute to our local Irish heritage and the contributions our Irish community members have made. From parades to performances, there are so many ways to celebrate St. Patrick’s day here in the Hudson Valley,” said Orange County Tourism Director Amanda Dana.

St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Blarney Blast, Port Jervis, Sunday, March 8, 2020, 3:00 – 5:000 p.m.: Historic Downtown Port Jervis is going green with its 2nd annual St. Patrick’s Day parade and celebratory shenanigans! The Hudson Valley Regional Police Pipes and Drums, featuring 25 bagpipers, will be leading the parade which will begin at Pike Plaza and end at the Erie Depot. Former Mayor of the City of Port Jervis R. Michael Worden and his mother Marjory Worden will be the Grand Marshals of the event. Emish Plays Pennings Farm for St. Patrick’s Day, Pennings Farm Market, 161 New York 94, Warwick, Sunday, March 15, 2020, 3:00 – 6:00 p.m.: You don’t have to have the luck of the Irish to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day at Pennings Farm! Mid-Hudson St. Patrick’s Day Parade, Goshen, Sunday, March 15, 2020, 2:00 – 4:00 p.m.: Don’t miss the biggest – and one of the oldest – St. Patrick’s Day parades in the Hudson Valley! St. Pat’s Ramble & Run for the Gold, Village of Montgomery, Saturday, March 21, 2020, 10:00 a.m.: Join the eighth annual Run for the Gold 5K Run/Walk sponsored by Angry Orchard & Copperfield’s Pub.
